- How much space does a bouncy castle need?
- Each inflatable has different space requirements. As a general rule, add 2–3 feet of clearance on all sides of the unit dimensions, plus overhead clearance (most inflatables are 10–15 feet tall). The Crown Dino Combo, for example, is 13.1ft x 13.1ft x 9.8ft and needs a clear area of at least 18ft x 18ft with 12ft overhead clearance.
- What surface types work for inflatable setup?
- Flat grass is the ideal setup surface. We can also set up on concrete, asphalt, and compacted gravel — stakes may not be used on hard surfaces, so sandbags or ballast weights are used instead. Sloped surfaces and soft sand are generally not suitable. Surface suitability is confirmed before booking.
- Do I need to measure my yard before booking?
- Yes. We recommend measuring the available flat area before submitting a booking request. Include the length, width, and any overhead obstacles like trees, power lines, or deck covers. We confirm setup suitability before finalising the booking.
- What is the overhead clearance required?
- Most inflatables require 12–15 feet of overhead clearance. The Crown Rush 42 water slide requires up to 12 feet at its highest point. Always account for trees, wires, and canopy structures when measuring available height.
