- What is the difference between a wet and dry inflatable?
- Wet inflatables are designed to run with water — they include water slides, splash pools, and combo units with wet zones. Dry inflatables are used without water and include bounce houses, obstacle courses, small climbing inflatables, and interactive games. Nova Kingdom Rentals wet-use units are the Crown Island Combo, Crown Rush 42, and Crown Cascade.
- Do wet inflatables require a water connection?
- Yes. Wet inflatables require access to a garden hose and water supply at the setup location. The hose attaches to a spray bar or soaker inlet on the unit. You are responsible for water access at your location.
- Can dry inflatables be used in hot weather?
- Yes. Dry inflatables can be used in all weather conditions within our operating guidelines. In hot weather, dry bounce inflatables are still popular — the Crown Dino Combo, Crown Quest obstacle course, Crown Climber (great for younger kids), and Crown Axe Challenge are all dry units suitable for warm-weather events.
- Which wet inflatable is best for young kids?
- The Crown Island Combo is the best wet inflatable for younger kids. It has a splash pool, slide, and bounce area, with a seat height of 4ft 3in — accessible for children 3 and up. The Crown Cascade and Crown Rush 42 are better suited to older kids and teens.
